Overview
Several millions of visits in the U.S are because of urethritis. It is more common among sexually active young adults.
Epidemiology
Chlamydia and gonorrhea are the most common reportable disease to the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Worldwide, there are an estimated 78 million cases of gonorrheal and 131 million of chlamydia yearly[1].
