Overview
There are no CT scan findings associated with hypoaldosteronism. A CT scan is not routinely done for the diagnosis of hypoaldosteronism.
CT scan
There are no CT scan findings associated with hypoaldosteronism. Most patients with hypoaldosteronism have underlying kidney disease and are at increased risk of contrast-induced nephropathy. If patients are to undergo a CT scan, adequate hydration should be ensured.[1]
