Cost effectiveness
Given the morbidity and mortality associated with multiple sclerosis and the high cost of treating the acute attacks and disability of MS disease, treatment with IFN β-1a SC injection, IFNβ-1b SC injection, and glatiramer acetate is relatively cost-effective.[1]
