Echocardiography or Ultrasound
Echocardiography may be helpful in the diagnosis of cardiac involvement of myasthenia gravis. Since there are several cholinergic mechanisms in heart, this organ can be affected by Myasthenia gravis.(1 ta 8) Some abnormalities has been reported in these patients. One of them is LV diastolic filling defects which improve with AChE inhibitors.(khode maghale)
