Symptoms
Symptoms of pseudomyxoma peritonei may include:[1][2]
- Abdominal or pelvic pain
- Bloating
- Abdominal distension
- Weight change
- Increased abdominal girth.
- Appendicitis-like symptoms in some cases.
- Gynecological complaints in females such as menstrual irregularity due to the ovarian deposits of the mucinous tumor.
- Subcutaneous non tender umbilical nodule have also been reported in rare cases.[3]
