Overview
Screening
- The presence of several melanocytic naevi is a strong risk factor for melanoma.
- In case of presence of numerous melanocytic naevi, one may perform whole body naevus count to identify at-risk patients.
- Two methods to count the nevus are used, whole body nevus count or the site-specific count.[1]
