There are no x-ray findings associated with radiation proctitis. However, an x-ray may be helpful in diagnosis of complications, in severe acute or chronic enteropathy, which include:[1][2]
- Bowel obstruction suggested by the presence of dilated bowel loops with air-fluid levels.
- Perforation suggested by presence of free air.
