Overview

Magnetic Resonance Imagine (MRI) is not used in the diagnosis of sleep apnea, but can be used to identify anatomical structures that may cause the sleep apnea.

• Magnetic Resonance Imagine (MRI) is not used in the diagnosis of sleep apnea. However, it can be used to identify anatomical structures that may cause the sleep apnea such as adenoids and tonsils blocking the airways and a large soft palate.
