Overview
The laboratory findings associated with endometrial carcinoma are the following: CBC, serum CA-125 concentration, serum iron concentrations, serum vitamin B12 and folate concentrations, liver function tests, and pulmonary function tests.
Colorectal Cancer Laboratory Findings
- Complete blood count and differential count - anemia
- Serum CA-125 -The tumor marker is checked, since this can predict advanced stage disease.[1]
- Low serum iron levels
- Hypercalcemia - with metastasis to the bone
Test for Metastasis
- Abnormal liver function tests
- Abnormal pulmonary function tests
The tumor marker CA-125 is sometimes checked, since this can predict advanced stage disease.[2]
