Neck CT scan may be diagnostic of parathyroid cancer. Findings on CT suggestive of parathyroid cancer include metastasis and invasion of surrounding tissues.

Key CT Findings in Parathyroid cancer

• Assess the central part of the chest cavity (the mediastinum)
• Sometimes there are parathyroid glands in the mediastinum.
• Identify distant metastases
