Overview
Bronchoscopy may be useful to obtain biopsy and evaluate symptomatic bronchial hamartomas.[1]
Other Diagnostic Studies
Although not preferred, bronchoscopy is an invasive endoscopic technique useful in the diagnosis of endobronchial hamartomas. Bronchoscopic findings normally show that endobronchial hamartomas are inflamed, which results in nonspecific conclusions.[1].
