Overview
The prevalence of fibromyalgia in the United States was reported to range from 500-5000 per 100,000 persons. Females are more commonly affected than males with a ratio of 9:1. 20-50 year age group is more commonly affected. Fibromyalgia has no racial predilection.[1]
