Overview
Echocardiography is useful in patients with murmurs because it is useful for diagnosing the valve vegetations and ventricular thrombi, which can occur in Behçet syndrome.
Echocardiography/Ultrasound
- Echocardiography is useful in patients with murmurs because it is useful for diagnosing the valve vegetations and ventricular thrombi, which can occur in Behçet syndrome.[1]
- Vascular involvement can be seen in up to 40% of patients with Behcet syndrome (BS) with the lower-extremity vein thrombosis (LEVT) being the most common type where ultrasonagraphy is needed.[2]
