History
Patients with focal segmental glomerulosclerosis may have a positive history of:[2]
- Positive family history of FSGN
- Heroin abuse
- Chronic viral infections such as hepatitis B
- Medications such as bisphosphonates
Common Symptoms
Common symptoms of focal segmental glomerulosclerosis include:[3][4]
- Proteinuria
- Hematuria
- Anasarca
- Headache and blurry vision which is suggestive of high blood pressure
Less Common Symptoms
