Ultrasound
Duplex ultrasound of renal artery may be helpful in the diagnosis of fibromuscular dysplasia. An increased peak systolic velocity,elevated blood velocities, turbulent blood flow, and tortuosity of the mid and distal portions of artery are the suggestive diagnostic tools for fibromuscular dysplasia.[1][2]
