Scoliosis must be differentiated from syringomyelia, spina bifida, arnold-chiari malformation and leg length discrepancy.

Differentiating Scoliosis from other Diseases

• Scoliosis must be differentiated from other diseases that causes spinal deformity, neurologic abnormalities and gait abnormalities, such as syringomyelia, spina bifida, arnold-chiari malformation and leg length discrepancy.
