Other imaging studies that may be used in the evaluation of chest pain include V/Q scintigraphy, CT angiogram, and endoscopy.

Other Imaging Findings

• V/Q scintigraphy or CT pulmonary angiogram (when a pulmonary embolism is suspected).
• Upper gastrointestinal endoscopy if esophagitis is suspected.
