Laboratory findings that are helpful for the diagnosis include following:

1- Complete Blood Count with platelets:

• Monitor for infection
• evaluate anemia
• identify bleeding risk.

2- Coagulation Profile:

• Prothrombin time (PT)/activated partial thromboplastin time (aPTT): Identify a coagulopathy that increases bleeding risk.
