Risk calculators and risk factors for Tuberculous pericarditis electrocardiogram

Editor-In-Chief: C. Michael Gibson, M.S., M.D. [1]; Associate Editor-In-Chief: Varun Kumar, M.B.B.S.; Lakshmi Gopalakrishnan, M.B.B.S.

Electrocardiogram

ECG may show non-specific ST-T–wave changes[1][2]. Characteristic EKG finding of acute pericarditis, PR-segment deviation and diffuse ST-segment elevation are found in only 9-11% of cases[3][2]. The presence of micro-voltage and electrical alternans suggests pericardial effusion and tamponade.
