People of all age group including children can have hematuria. Certain factor increases the chance of Hematuria

• Recent infection: Postinfectious Glomerulonephritis
• Exercise: Long distance runners are prone to exercise induced urinary bleeding.
• Age: Male older than 50 years have enlarged prostate than can cause Hematuria
• Sex: 50% of all women suffer from urinary tract infection at least once in there life time, which can also cause urinary bleeding.
