Overview
There are generally no primary prevention strategies for most cases of aplastic anemia. Avoidance of insecticides, herbicides, and other toxic chemicals can decrease the risk of acquired aplastic anemia.

- There are generally no primary prevention measures for most cases of aplastic anemia.
- Avoidance of exposure to insecticides, herbicides, organic solvents, paint removers, and other toxic chemicals may lower the risk of aplastic anemia.[1]
