Overview

Echocardiography may reveal pericardial effusion, and abdominal ultrasound may reveal evidence of ascites.

Echocardiography and ultrasound

Usually echocardiography and ultrasound are normal, but in some cases echocardiography may show evidence of pericardial effusion, and abdominal ultrasounds may reveal fluid collection in the abdomen (ascites)[1]
