Colonoscopy can reveal Diphyllobothrium latum, usually located in the terminal ileum and extending to the sigmoid colon.

Colonoscopy can reveal Diphyllobothrium latum, usually located in the terminal ileum and extending to the sigmoid colon. Colonoscopy is not routinely performed but can have some diagnostic value in high clinical suspicion when other tests yield no diagnosis. [1][2]
