Overview
On chest x-ray, right-sided endocarditis is characterized by pleural effusions, multiple round densities, and cavitary multilobar infiltrates.

An x-ray may be helpful in the diagnosis of endocarditis. Findings on an x-ray suggestive of endocarditis include:[1]
- Pleural effusions in right-sided endocarditis
- Multiple round densities, and cavitary multilobar infiltrates.
