Overview
A CT scan is useful in distinguishing extraocular muscle enlargement from fat expansion which is common in Graves' disease.
CT scan
CT scan is helpful in the diagnosis of ophthalmopathy of Graves' disease, especially in cases of asymmetric proptosis where ruling out an orbital tumor and arteriovenous malformation is important.[1]
