Overview
Surgery is the mainstay of treatment for subdural hematoma. Pharmacologic medical therapies for subdural hematoma include corticosteroids, atorvastatin, tranexamic acid, etizolam, and ACE inhibitor.

- In patients with anticoagulation problem we have to correct the coagulation system:
- Prothrombin complex concentrate (PCC) for patients who use warfarin or other vitamin K antagonist (VKA)
- Idarucizumab for patients who use dabigatran
- Andexanet alfa for patients who use direct factor Xa inhibitor
- Protamine sulfate for patients who use heparin
