Overview
Ureaplasma is diagnosed using special culture media for Mycoplasma and/or PCR.[1][2][3] Other diagnostic studies are usually not indicated.
Other diagnostic studies
Microbial culture methods and/or PCR-based techniques are the only reliable methods for diagnosing Ureaplasma colonization/infection.[1][2][3]
