Overview
Common physical examination findings of B cell lymphomas include peripheral lymphadenopathy, central lymphadenopathy, fever, pruritus, pallor, petechiae, jaundice, chest tenderness, abdominal distension, abdominal tenderness, and hepatosplenomegaly.

Appearance of the Patient
- Appearance of the Patients with B cell lymphomas depends on the stage of disease. Patients may present with cachexia in late disease stage.
Vital Signs
- Fever
- Tachypnea
- Asymmetric pulse
Skin
HEENT
- Abnormalities of the head/hair may include:
- Icteric sclera
- Nystagmus
- Patients may develop superior vena cava syndrome, which may present with:
- Swelling of the face
- Facial flushing/redness face or cheeks
- Facial tenderness
- Drooping eyelid
- Swelling around the eye
Neck
Lungs
- Thoracic masses suggestive of central lymphadenopathy
- Chest tenderness
