The goals, risks and benefit of genetic assessment are numerous. A number of genetic conditions are associated with liposarcoma. Li-Fraumeni syndrome are the most common disease associated with it. The genes for TP53 mutations are tested in the tissue sample to detect Li-Fraumeni syndrome. [1]
