Liposarcoma is associated with a number of risk factors. Few of them are listed below.
Chemical carcinogens
- Phenoxyacetic herbicides
- Chlorophenols
- Dioxin contaminations
Radiation
Post irradiation sarcoma has an incidence of 1%. Risk has been found with adjuvant therapy of radiation for breast carcinoma.
