Overview
Chest X Ray
- The chest X-ray of a patient with organizing pneumonia demonstrates non-specific features that resemble extensive inflammation/infection.
- Findings on a chest X-ray include:
- Unilateral or bilateral patchy consolidation, usually peripheral, subpleural, and peribronchovascular
- Radiopaque nodules that represent foci of granulation tissue, may be numerous in immunocompromised patients[1]
