- The patient presents with several tick bites and an engorged tick on the shoulder. Later, the patient presents with nausea, weakness, and diarrhea. They may further develop fever, anorexia, chills, headache, myalgia, and arthralgia.
Common Symptoms

- Fever
- Headache
- Myalgia
- Arthralgia
- Cephalalgia (Headache, pain in the region of the head or neck)
- Fatigue
- Disorientation
