Overview
X ray is routinely done in the patients with aplastic anemia.
Xray findings
Chest xray in presence of infection and pneumonia secondry to neutropenia may show:[1]
- Bilateral multiple ground glass opacities, bec of possible fungal infections.
- Xray of kidneys and the bones in the arms and hands, are sometimes abnormal in young people who have Fanconi anemia which can lead to aplastic anemia.
