-Determination of the exact healing time of the forearm fracture is an important and difficult fact in orthopedic medicine. Meanwhile, useful screening test for the diagnosis and the follow up in these patients is necessary: the x-ray as the standard procedure is used to diagnose patients with suspected fracture. Also, The use of ultrasound to diagnose fractures has serious controversies over the past decades. But, its been proved that the use of ultrasound could beneficial in patients with suspected fractures of the long bones of the limbs or in superficial bones, and children and adolescents.
