CT Findings
- CT scans are not diagnostic of organizing pneumonia, they often show non-specific findings and may demonstrate features of ongoing or resolving pneumonia.
- Findings include:[1][2]
- Subpleural and/or peribronchovascular consolidation.
- Ground-glass attenuation and nodules.
- Irregular linear opacities.
- Bronchial wall thickening and dilatation.
- The reverse halo sign (atoll sign) is seen in 20% of the patient.[3]
