Overview
The annual incidence of VIPoma is approximately 0.01 per 100,000 (approx. 1 in 10 million) individuals worldwide per year. Women are more commonly affected with VIPoma than men. The incidence of VIPoma increases with age, the median age at diagnosis is 50 years.[1]
Epidemiology and Demographics
Incidence
- The annual incidence of VIPoma is approximately 0.01 per 100,000 (approx. 1 in 10 million) individuals worldwide per year.[1]
Gender
- Women are more commonly affected with VIPoma than men.[1]
Age
- The incidence of VIPoma increases with age, the median age at diagnosis is 50 years.[1]
