Overview
Double-contrast Barium enema may be helpful in the diagnosis of familial adenomatous polyposis. Familial adenomatous polyposis might be presented as outgrowths with lobulation or indentation and filling defects on x-rays.

- Double-contrast Barium enema may be helpful in the diagnosis of colon polyps. Findings on an x-ray suggestive of colon polyps include:[1][2]
- Pedunculated outgrowth
- Basal indentation
- Lobulation
- Irregular surface contour
