Some studies have demonstrated that early dysplastic radiographic changes occur more frequently in preterm infants with Ureaplasma respiratory tract colonization.[1] A previous study conducted demonstrated no radiologically significant difference between neonates colonized with U. urealyticum and noncolonized neonates.[2]
