History and Symptoms

Most of the individuals with pinworm infection are asymptomatic. The main symptoms are abdominal pain and diarrhea.

Common symptoms

• Abdominal discomfort or pain
• Diarrhea
• Weakness
• Nausea
• Vomiting

Less common symptoms

• Numbness of fingers and toes
• Loss of appetite
• Constipation
• Jaundice
