Overview
Cranial ultrasonographic findings may include intraventricular hemorrhage, hypoxic-ischemic injury to the periventricular white matter and periventricular leukomalacia.

- Cranial ultrasonography may show
- Intraventricular hemorrhage
- Hypoxic-ischemic injury to the periventricular white matter
- Periventricular leukomalacia- echodense area that after 2 week converts to an echolucent area
