Chest X Ray

• The chest X-ray of a patient with organizing pneumonia demonstrates non-specific features that resemble extensive inflammation/infection.
• Findings on a chest X-ray include:

• Unilateral or bilateral patchy consolidation, usually peripheral, subpleural, and peribronchovascular
• Radiopaque nodules that represent foci of granulation tissue, may be numerous in immunocompromised patients
