Overview
There are no established preventive measures to prohibit developing small intestinal cancers. However, limiting tobacco and alcohol use, moderate healthy diet consumption and treatment of gastroenteritis and other intestinal pathology with increased risk of carcinomatos changes in polyps, can decrease the incidence of small intestinal cancers.

Epidemiology data show the following intervention may help to reduce your risk of small intestine cancer:
- Treatment celiac disease ,Crohns disease and inherited causes early
- Quitting smoking [1]
- People with genetic predisposition can undergo screening for early diagnosis
- Limited alcohol consumption[2]
- Moderate diet and Maintaining weight[3]
- Biliary tract diseases such as cholecystitis and gallstones prevention and their early treatment[4]
- Eradication of Helicobacter pylori and prevention of Peptic ulcer disease[5]
