Goodpasture’s syndrome is rare.
Age
Cases have occurred in patients between the ages of 4 and 80, it is most common between ages 18 and 30 and again between 50 and 65.
Gender
Males are six times more affected than females.
Race
In European populations between half and one case presents per million people per year. It is rarer than this in non-European populations.
