Overview
Polypectomy is the mainstay of treatment for Peutz-Jeghers syndrome. Laser cosmetic therapy may be considered for mucocutaneous pigmentation.[1]
Surgery
- Polypectomy is performed if the patient presented with any of the following:
- Copious rectal bleeding
- Intussusception
- Laser cosmetic therapy may be considered for mucocutaneous pigmentation
