In general, a thorough laboratory evaluation is necessary to accurately assess and stage the severity of lung mass. Lab evaluations includes complete blood count, electrolytes, calcium, alkaline phosphatase, alanine aminotransferase (ALT), aspartate aminotransferase (AST), total bilirubin, creatinine, albumin, and lactate dehydrogenase.[1]
