Historical Perspective
Syndrome of SIADH was initially described by Leaf and Mambi in the year 1951.[1] Later it was described by researchers from Boston, Massachusetts and Bethesda, Maryland (including Dr Frederic Bartter) in two patients with lung cancer in the year 1957.[2]
