Overview

Although not the most preferred methodology, chest x rays may be used as a diagnostic tool in the evaluation of dextrocardia. Diagnostic findings may include a notable right ventricular double outlet defect formation.

Chest X ray

Shown to the right is a chest X ray in a patient with Dextrocardia. Note that the heart is on the right side of the chest.
